The School of Rigour
It all begins in 2010. Alex joins the internal croupier school of the Gran Casino Costa Brava. Here, teachers don't joke around: hands always visible, never turning your back to the table, lightning-fast mental calculations.
Training is a shadow profession. The slightest deviation in posture or timing is sanctioned. Alex graduates with a discipline of steel.
The Encounter
In 2015, Alex settles at the Grosvenor Casino in Reading. It's there, behind a gaming table, that he crosses Mathilde's gaze, freshly arrived from the Cerus Casino croupier school in Manchester.
If Alex embodies rigour and pure technique, Mathilde is the smile and the dazzle. Their two worlds align perfectly.
The North, Luxury, and the Call of the Sea
In December 2016, the duo seizes an extraordinary opportunity: the opening of the Victoria Gates Casino in Leeds, the largest casino in the North of England.
But the continent has become too small. The call of the sea grows louder: heading to Celebrity Cruises, the most prestigious brand of the Royal Caribbean Group.
